Rango Film Character Show at Game FrontierVille

Rango, chameleon character in the animated film 'Rango' a voice filled by Johnny Depp, will perform in the production game Zynga, FrontierVille as extras.

Starting today, users will find a character game FrontierVille Rango, a film showing in theaters starting this weekend. In the game FrontierVille, if the players complete the mission, the players will get a statue of the character Rango. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable, Tuesday (03/01/2011).

73% of People Play Games on Mobile

The future of gaming on handheld devices or mobile phones increasingly bright. Now, console gaming is not the only means to play games.

More than half of U.S. and British respondents to a survey of computer gaming has been playing games on mobile phones. Of those surveyed, 73 percent of British respondents said they had played a mobile game at least once, compared with 44 percent of U.S. residents surveyed.

Another survey also noted that 33.6 percent of all adults in the United States and Britain have played a game on their mobile phone handsets last month.

In addition, nearly a quarter, or 24.6 percent had been playing in the last week, while 83 percent of mobile gamers who have a smartphone say they will play in every day.

"Mobile gaming, along with social games, video game industry's hottest sector so far," said Dennis Ryan, EVP Worldwide PopCap, which comes nearly a third of the total revenue from sales of mobile games.

Nintendo 3DS week Behaviour Unit 400 Thousand

Angry Birds Approach 100 Million Downloads
